  1. The breaking of club rules carries a minimum fine of £25 and/or expulsion.

  2. Verbal and/or physical abuse to any member by any other member or members will be an offence subject disciplinary action.

  3. No camping, fires, radios, tins, glass bottles, gaffes, dogs, alcohol, litter, lead core, bait boats, nuts of any type.

  4. Fishing on club waters no earlier than one hour before sunrise and no later than one hour after sunset. Times of sunrise and sunset, according to the Meteorological Office.

  5. Night fishing at Crakemarsh with a permit only .As supplied by Mark Berrisford. Night fishing on any other club water is not allowed.

  6. No fish to be removed from club waters. Night fishing on any other club water is not allowed

  7. All hooks to be barbless. Maximum hook size 6.

  8. All fish to be returned to the water with as little damage as possible. It is recommended that all anglers carry a fish care kit.

  9. Keepnets and landing nets to dried before use. Keepnets: To comply with Environment Agency Ruling. Have no Knotted meshes or metallic material. Have holes smaller than 25mm. Be more than 2m long. Have supported rings or frames less than 40cm apart and more than 120cm in circumference. Landing Nets You cannot use a landing net with any meshes that are knotted or made of metallic material. Landing nets intended for use when fishing for pike or specimen carp must be a minimum of 36 inches wide.

  10. All anglers must carry with them a suitable unhooking mat to prevent ANY fish coming into contact with the ground whilst unhooking.

  11. Weights are limited to a maximum of 3oz on terminal tackle and semi-fixed rig set ups.

  12. An angler must not fish with more than two rods at any one time. Both to be confined to one peg. Anglers fishing with two rods should have them no more than two meters apart.

  13. No junior members under the age of twelve years to fish on club waters unless accompanied by an adult. Who will be responsible for their behaviour.

  14. Juniors of 13 years of age and under are permitted to fish with one (1) rod at any time.

  15. Only one member is allowed to fish off a peg at any time. Subject to the discretion of the Bailiff.

  16.  Members can only fish off permanent pegs on any club water.

  17. Members are not allowed to lend, or to transfer their membership card. Members must produce their card when requested by a club Bailiff.

  18. All Members must remove all litter from their peg.

  19. Do not damage any land, property or crops and keep to the right of way. Close and lock all gates.

  20. Park only on recognised parking areas.

  21. Silverfish only to be kept in keep nets during pleasure fishing sessions. The weight limit of fish in a single keep net is 50lb.

  22. Bailiffs have the right and permission to inspect terminal tackle being used, either in or out of the water.

  23. Only full members of two or more years are allowed to submit motions and/or vote at the Annual General Meeting.

  24. All notices of motion must be handed in to the club secretary no later than one month prior to the A.G.M.

  25. The use of drones is not permitted on club waters.  

  26. Un-supervised wading is prohibited on club waters.

  27. Do not leave a rod unattended with its bait/hook in the water, or on the bank.

  28. Anglers must be in close proximity in order to take immediate control over their rod and line at all times.

  29. All bait to be removed from the bank after fishing.

  30. Any person caught fishing without permission will be prosecuted under Schedule 1, Paragraph 2 of the 1968 Theft Act.

  31. All anglers fishing club waters to be in possession of a valid Environment Agency rod licence.

  32. No night fishing at Crakemarsh after 10pm the night before a match the following day.

  33. Sunday matches: Match venue is closed until 3:30pm on the day of a match (See Match dates).

  34. Friday afternoon open matches: Larkhall closed on the day of a match. (See Match dates)

  35. The pike fishing season on club waters will be the 1st October – 31st March inclusive.

  36. Human waste (Excrement-Faeces) to be taken away from the fishery and disposed of in a responsible manner.

  37. If a replacement club card is required a standard charge of £5 will apply, regardless of the type of membership. Applications to be made to the Treasurer (See Club officials) accompanied by a Stamped Addressed Envelope. Including details of where the lost club card was purchased.

  38. The use of any device that is intended to automatically hook a fish is banned from all club waters.
