WORK PARTY NEWS.
Again its that time of year to take stock of the work that is required to maintain our waters, most of the work that is required is in response to a survey of our waters this is carried out by the commitee members, when we have done this we will allocate time on the relevant waters so that the best use of time is made
So what is happening this year, Following on from last years work at Larkhall Pool there is to be some work on the drive, also along with some tree work we shall be installing steps down to the pegs where needed. Heronmarsh Pool the main ditch that runs behind the pool is to be cleared of any trees and bushes. There is no plan this year to do any work on Crakemarsh Pool and the river.
YOUR INPUT
If you know of any work that may be required to make our waters safe and accessible please contact a member of the committee or even better put yourself forward to become a member of the committee
So if you can come and give the club a hand with this years programme of work, details of times and locations to be posted later.

Crakemarsh Pool not just 4 Carp
Why does everybody think that Crakemarsh Pool is only for carp anglers.
Well i think that finally other anglers are finding the merits of Crakemarsh, in the fact that it is a fine mixed fishery, over the first four months of this year there have being some good catches of silvers and Bream upto 8lbs all on float, pole and tip with a few tench showing, baits to use maggots, dead reds, pellet and corn, also the pike anglers have been doing quite well on most methoeds with fish going to over 25lb, not many perch been caught yet but hopefully some anglers are targeting them on light dropshot tactics.
